OUR STORY

Growing up I spent my summers enjoying the many lakes that make Minnesota summers so special.  Boating with friends and spending time around the water became a favorite pastime.  As I got older I started developing a love and passion for the game of Golf.  Walking the fairways with good friends while playing the game we couldn’t get enough of became the highlight of my week.  When I wasn’t playing Golf I was dreaming about Golf and counting the days until the next tee time when I could do it all over again.

Winters brought about Golf trips to the coasts that included staying near the water and playing 36 holes a day.  Starting the days off walking the beaches in the morning, playing Golf all day and enjoying drinks and great food was a dream come true.   I wanted every day to be just like those on the Golf trips to the coasts!  

My passion for Golf and love for being around the water led me to start Island Greens.  I looked around and nobody was making the tour visors and canvas belts I wanted to wear on and off the course that represented the life under par I was so passionate about.  In 2015, I set out to start Island Greens with the idea of Everyday Under Par.  I spent the next couple of years developing the first visors, hats, belts and this website with the hope of someday following my dream.  Today as we are teeing off in 2018 I am finally living out my dream one visor, hat and belt at a time. I sincerely hope you enjoy Island Greens and stop back often!
